How to be imaginative & creative? My students
gave some suggestions:

Do a brain dump to be organized later
Read
Go to Disneyland to be a kid again
Listen to music that you are not familiar with
Going outside-it doesn't have to be th mountains, or the ocean.
Alcohol? Just remember Hemmingway...
Hang out with people.

I have some of my own:

play

have a file system

read the news regularly

try out a new hobby

when you are stuck, take a break and do something completely different

do REAL brainstorming

learn about technology
